Expelled by an administrative decision

If you have been expelled by an administrative decision, you are no longer entitled to stay in Denmark and must leave the country.

When the Danish Immigration Service has made an administrative decision on expulsion, they will send the decision to the Danish Return Agency. When we receive the decision from the Immigration Service, we will contact you.

The Danish Return Agency will tell you what the decision says, including when you have to leave and whether you have been given a re-entry ban. We will also inform you of your options for filing an appeal against the decision with the Danish Immigration Appeals Board.

We will assist you with practical matters in connection with your return journey to the extent that you are unable to do this yourself.

We will talk to you about your luggage, travel documents, transport, etc. We will also be present for your departure.

If you have any questions about your administrative expulsion, you should contact the Danish Immigration Service.
